Big Gay and Bilbee's Big Birthday

So way way back in the year, my good friend John had his 25th birthday.  His dog Bilbee also had a birthday around the same time.  And to the chagrin of most of his skateboarding friends he had decided to have his party at the old Pleasanton skate-track.  We brought warm beer and some bbqing items and headed to out to celebrate in the park.

 I brought some corms and chicken for me to eat.

 John brought this thing.  The weird dude was weirded out.

 Clay-dizzle was rocking fresh beats

We also had this thing kicking out the jams for us.

 I was hungry so I bbqed my chicken up.  It was delicious.

 I also had a hotdog

 Unfortunately though, there were very few buns.

I wish I had gotten more photos of people doing real tricks but I was having too much fun skating.  Oh well, happy late birthday John.  Here's to another year!

Happy Shawn-oween

So now that I've started writing blogs again and I have a bunch of old photos to use I'm going to start with the birthday's I've missed first and then various other events that happened in the past.  We'll start with Shawn's 22nd birthday that he had in October right around Halloween.  In celebration the we went to a costume party and then had beers at 12AM at open mic night at Ray's lounge.  Happy birthday Shawn!  At least your blog won't be as late as John's...

I had a blast form the past when I saw Casey's sister at the party.  It must have been 5 years or so since I'd seen her last.

 Fast forward to Ray's lounge and Shawn rocking open mic night with the first few bars of AC/DC's "Back in Black" over and over.

Casey and I loved it!

 These dudes were not impressed

 "Don, go up there"

 "Hey man do you know that one song? What's it called? Freebird?  Yeah, that one."

"HEY! WAY!  I'VE GOT A REAL COMPLAINT" 

 So does Matty. And a happy fuck you to you too!

 Then I went up there and sang some shit awesomely.  I believe it was a Cure song.

 "Sorry, about that one dude..."

 Don was also sorry for me.

Its ok though, my sexiness made up for it

 What do you know?  Time for Shawn again!

By the end of the night Matty was wasted as usual... Actually hes not wasted and this is just a terrible photo, but Jeeeeasus Christ, Matty... Jesus Christ...

Happy Birthday to Me! ... (5 months late)

So Back when it was Summer time I had a birthday.  My girlfriend at the time took me out to dinner and when we came home everything seemed in order.  Shawn and Leah were sitting on the couch.  Shawn mentioned that he got me something for my birthday and told me to go check out my room. This is what I saw when I opened the door to my room...

Happy birthday to me indeed!  Thanks Brendin, best gift ever!

 With a few exceptions all of my friends made it out to celebrate with me.  It was one of the best feelings ever.  Thanks guys!

 Sara made me a cake.  It was delicious.  I ate it for weeks after this.

 We lit off a bunch of firecrackers real late at night.  The neighbors loved us.

So we went out and finished our beer pyramid and called it a night.

Thanks to everyone that showed up to my birthday that night.  It was one of the best nights of my life and one I will never forget.  I love you all!
